Our Story

Welcome to Staten Island Athletic Club (SIAC), a club steeped in history and tradition since its founding in 1876. As one of the oldest sports clubs in New York City, we take pride in our rich heritage and vibrant community.

At SIAC, we're more than just a running club – we're a family. Our members, numbering over 100 strong, come from all walks of life, united by our shared passion for running and camaraderie. Whether you're a seasoned marathoner or a novice jogger, there's a place for you here.

Our mission is simple: to bring out the best in each other while having a great time doing it. We believe in fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where every member is encouraged to push their limits and achieve their personal best, all while forging lasting friendships along the way.

Training

Sunday Long Runs

Our long runs are held every Sunday morning at Clove Lakes, focused on building aerobic capacity. 

Tuesday Speed Work

Either a hill workout or track workout, focused on building speed.

Saturday Fun Run

Three mile fun run around Clove Lakes! More details here.
